Covid-19: over 34,000 tests, 4,500 a day, says ministry
In laboratories in Poland so far 34,067 samples have been tested for coronavirus detection. 1,244 of them were positive and 32,823 were negative, the health ministry said on March 27.
Over 4,500 tests were conducted in a day, the ministry claimed.
Still, the numbers are changing dynamically. Covid-19 has so far infected 1,862 people, of whom 22 have died. The first case in Poland was confirmed on March 4. The coronavirus outbreak was labeled a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11.
