This weekend, Gosia Rdest will spend in Alpine A110 testing in French Nogaro, to start on August 22 and 23 on this track in the first round of the Alpine Europa Cup. After this year's starts as part of the Polish Motor Racing Championships, in which she triumphed three times, and after winning in Dubai, she looks with great optimism at this start season.
"Despite the lack of training in real life, I am very well-prepared, I spent a lot of time polishing my physical form and simulators," she confessed.
Before the Polish woman, four rounds of the Alpine Europa Cup racing series in which drivers race these iconic cars. The first three rounds will take place in France: August 22-23 in Nogaro, in September in Magny-Cours, and a month later on Paul Ricard. The last round will take place at the turn of October and November in Portimao, Portugal. Training on simulators and physical activity allowed the Polish athlete to stay in shape and competitive spirit. This year's races have proved that she is the favorite of the upcoming Alpine Europa Cup.
On the weekend of July 4th and 5th, at the helm of Seat Leon Racer, she took first and second place during the first weekend of the Polish Racing Car Championships in Poznań. In addition, as a replacement for Robert Lukas, she guest-hosted the Porsche at the Endurance race with Janusz Szymański, in which she arrived first. In January this year she took part in the 24-hour race in Dubai, which due to weather conditions was interrupted after 7 hours. Also, this race turned out to be the triumph of Gosia Rdest - she took the first place with her team.
