Development in Tricity accelerating. Ports will change real estate market
Pomerania is entering one of the strongest investment cycles in its history, with ports, offshore wind, logistics and semiconductors emerging as key growth drivers alongside IT and business services. Port Gdańsk handled 41.7 mln tons of cargo in H1 2026, while Baltic Hub processed nearly 1.6 mln TEU. Public investment is also accelerating, including more than PLN 18 bln under the National Recovery Plan, around PLN 10 bln of which supports offshore wind, and Poland’s planned PLN 192 bln nuclear power plant in Choczewo.
Improved road, rail and port infrastructure is strengthening the region’s role as a gateway between Central and Eastern Europe and global markets, while investors increasingly prioritize supply-chain security and operational efficiency.
