Polish companies are expanding into dual-use infrastructure that supports both economic activity and national security. General contractor Atlas Ward, which has completed more than 900 industrial, logistics, and technology facilities, has joined the Polish Chamber of Dual Use.

Through Atlas Ward Polskie Schrony, the company is introducing Finnish shelter technology developed with Temet. Dual-use solutions include underground parking garages that can be converted into sealed shelters, production facilities adapted for defense purposes, and data centers protecting critical information.

Poland has allocated nearly PLN 34 billion to civil protection and civil defense for 2025–2026, while certain new developments must include protective functions from 2026. Atlas Ward argues that involving Polish capital, expertise, contractors, and supply chains in strategic projects will strengthen the country’s resilience, technological sovereignty, and economic competitiveness.
