EIB: almost 2/3 of Poles believe EU supports their climate protection efforts

Poles consider the European Union to be the most important public entity involved in combating climate change, but they demand a greater involvement of state authorities, according to a survey by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and YouGov, which examines views on climate change among the citizens of the EU, the United States and China. In the opinion of 64 percent of Poles, the EU supports their climate protection-related activities and attitudes. This is 29 percentage points more than in the case of central authorities (35 percent) and 23 percentage points more than in the case of local governments (41 percent).
