Ex-runner to climb two 8,000 meter mountains in two weeks

Magdalena Gorzkowska, the silver medalist of the indoor world championships in the 4x400 meter relay in 2016, is now trying to climb two 8,000 meter peaks: Makalu (8,642 meters above sea level) and Lhotse (8,516 meters above sea level). If she succeeds, she will be the first woman to have done it in just two weeks’ time. Last year, Gorzkowska climbed Mount Everest as the youngest Polish woman in history.
