Soldiers from several countries, including the UK, France, Germany, Turkey, and the USA, will come to Poland on an expeditionary mission to support flood relief efforts, announced Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. He stated that around 24,000 soldiers are currently engaged in flood response and prevention measures.
The allied forces will arrive between October 1 and 4 for reconnaissance regarding engineering support. Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized Poland's capacity to manage the situation but aims to expedite the relief process. He also noted Turkey's willingness to assist as gratitude for Poland's previous support during their earthquake crisis.
