Teresa Czerwińska, former Minister of Finance, is the most serious candidate to take the position of the Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) after Brexit, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported.
A few hours after resigning from the post of the Minister of Finance, Teresa Czerwińska was appointed to the board of the National Bank of Poland. As reported by DGP, the former minister is currently being considered for the post of Vice-President of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.
“Poland will be able to fill this position when Brexit occurs,” the newspaper states.
