Fully automated high-bay warehouse under construction under Grójec in Michrów
PepsiCo is building a fully automated high-bay warehouse in Michrów near Grójec as part of a $46.1 mln investment, its largest logistics project currently underway in Poland. The 38-meter facility will initially hold 28,500 pallets, with potential expansion to 65,000, and will be connected directly to the existing beverage plant by a 220-meter logistics bridge.
The warehouse will use automated storage, internal transport and digital inventory systems, handling more than 200 pallets per hour and about 150 trucks per day. PepsiCo expects the project to eliminate around 8,000 truck trips annually, cutting CO₂ emissions by about 1,977 tons.
Completion is planned for 2027. The investment will strengthen Michrów’s role in PepsiCo’s European logistics network and increase direct deliveries from about 30% to 90%.
