Garbage collection fees rose over 30% during last year

Fees for garbage collection have jumped by 31 percent last year followed by an increase in the prices of municipal services, a report prepared by Curulis. At the same time, the cost of water charges and sewage disposal increased by about 7.7 percent, and the property tax, parking fees and public transport tickets remained almost unchanged.

The report shows that the average Polish family spends PLN 3002 per year on communal services - PLN 50 for property taxes, PLN 54 for parking fees, PLN 649 for municipal waste, PLN 834 for public transport and PLN 1,415 for used water and sewage.
