GEODIS in Poland establishes a facility at MLP Pruszków II

The global logistics operator has agreed to a lease on 2,600 sqm of space at MLP Pruszków II. Most of the area will be used for GDP pharmaceutical storage. Delivery of the finished unit has been scheduled for early next year. The transaction was completed through JLL, a real estate advisory firm.
GEODIS in Poland has leased about 2.600 sqm of space available at the MLP Pruszków II logistics park. A little over 2.400 sqm will serve as GDP storage space. The office space, featuring large glazing sections, will take up another 170 sqm. Construction of the new unit is well underway, with EastWave acting as the general contractor. The finished building is expected to be delivered for occupancy early next year.
“To match the growing needs of the demanding market for pharmaceutical and biotech products in Poland, GEODIS decided to invest in a GDP storage facility in Pruszkow close to Warsaw. “It is an excellent base for serving hospitals, clinics, doctors’ surgeries, and patients with different types of medicine, some of them requiring to be stored and shipped within a range of 2-8 degrees Celsius. From Pruszkow, we will also handle temperature-controlled air and sea freight shipments for our clients to destinations worldwide,” Thomas Kraus, President & CEO of GEODIS North, East, and Central Europe, said.
