Grupa Kęty finalizes acquisition of Selt for PLN 394.9 mln net
Grupa Kęty has finalized the purchase of 211,815 shares in Selt, an Opole-based company, representing 100% of its share capital, for a net value of PLN 394.9 million. The acquisition was funded through a combination of Grupa Kęty's own resources and bank loans. The acquisition aims to extend Grupa Kęty's value chain, diversify its product portfolio, and achieve synergies in areas like procurement, sales, and customer service.
This move aligns with Grupa Kęty's 2021-2025 development strategy, which includes potential acquisitions related to its core business. Selt, a leader in Poland's sun protection systems market, reported annual revenues of approximately PLN 280 million and offers products like external blinds, pergolas, and energy-saving solutions.
