ICSG forecasts copper deficits in '19 and '20

The International Copper Study Group (ICSG) forecasts that the refined copper deficit in the world in 2019 will amount to 189,000 metric tonnes, the organization said. By 2020, the assumed deficit will increase to 250,000 tonnes.
ICSG forecasts assume that refined copper production in the world in 2019 will increase by 2.8 percent and in 2020 by 1.2 percent. Consumption in 2019 will increase by 1.9 percent and 1.4 percent in 2020.
