Leading logistics service provider specializing in dedicated contract logistics, ID Logistics, strengthens cooperation with Lindt & Sprüngli (Poland), the world leader in the premium chocolate market. On June 1, 2020, a new chocolate producer distribution center was launched in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, managed by the ID Logistics team. This year is 10 years since the signing of the contract between the companies.
From the newly opened Lindt & Sprüngli distribution center in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, all stores, retail chains, wholesalers and other sales outlets around the country are supplied. The ID Logistics team is responsible for managing warehouse processes (storage, inventory management, order picking and co-packing) and distribution of chocolate products to delivery points (dedicated FTL transport).
The Lindt & Sprüngli (Poland) distribution center in Grodzisk Mazowiecki is twice as large as the previous chocolate manufacturer's warehouse in Błonie near Warsaw. Now, its area is nearly 7,600 sqm, of which 7,000 sqm is part of the warehouse. The working height of the warehouse hall is 2 m higher than the standard one and amounts to 12 m. As many as 13,000 pallet places were prepared for the storage of chocolate products. A co-packing zone is also larger than in the warehouse in Błonie, where promotional sets and display stands for retail chains and other outlets are put together. Its area is 600 sqm, it has also been adapted to the requirements of continuous operation.
