InPost has launched a pilot of a new model of Paczkomat machines featuring integrated photovoltaic panels and energy storage units, allowing them to be placed anywhere regardless of access to the power grid. The pilot is underway in Gdańsk and Kraków, as well as in several European markets including the UK, Italy, and France. Nine machines have been deployed in Poland (Kraków and Gdańsk), three in Florence with no battery changes needed so far, and two in London undergoing testing. France's pilot near Lille aims to start with nine machines later this month.

This initiative represents InPost's commitment to carbon reduction and technological innovation in expanding their network across varied European climates.
