Investment of Sobiesław Zasady gets green light in Bielsko-Biała
Kraków based developer Art City Eko-Park has received a new environmental permit from the city hall in Bielsko-Biała for a project near the Sarni Stok area. The decision allows development of a 17 hectare site with 22 residential and hotel buildings.
The project includes 12 eight story apartment blocks with 660 units, 10 three story hotel buildings with 510 units, nearly 1,900 parking spaces, as well as office, retail and technology facilities. Because the site borders a protected landscape area, the developer must implement environmental measures such as installing bird and bat boxes, building amphibian ponds and consulting experts before cutting about 500 trees.
The previous environmental permit was annulled by a court after complaints from environmental groups. The company later submitted a new application and obtained approval for the unchanged project.
