Japanese group DyDo to partner with Polish manufacturer for European distribution
Japan’s DyDo Group wants to turn Polish beverage producer Wosana into its European development hub. Despite a weak start to the year for Poland’s non-alcoholic drinks market, with sales volumes down 3.4% from January to May, Wosana is accelerating investment and expansion. The company, founded more than 30 years ago in Andrychów, was acquired by DyDo in 2024. It plans to raise capital expenditure from PLN 48 mln in 2025 to nearly PLN 70 mln this year, expanding production lines and warehouses.
Exports currently generate about 5% of revenue, but Wosana wants this to rise to 15-20% within two years. Its main ambition is to become a leading European player in tea-based drinks.
