JHM Development completes land transaction in Poznan for PLN 421 mln
JHM Development has completed one of the largest land transactions in Poznań in recent years, acquiring the 12.2-hectare Osiedle Maltańskie site for over PLN 421 million. The property, located near Lake Malta — one of the city’s key recreational areas — was purchased on 29 January and will be developed into a major multi-family residential project with more than 2,000 apartments.
The scheme is expected to rank among Poznań’s largest planned housing developments in the coming years. The site has a complex background, marked by long-standing legal, planning and social disputes involving existing residents, parts of whom oppose redevelopment and have pursued legal claims. Meanwhile, the City of Poznań is working on a new zoning plan for the Malta Lake area.
