On Sunday, the 28 final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) of Jurek Owsiak took place. Since the beginning of its activity, the WOŚP Foundation has raised over PLN 1 billion to support Polish medicine. Last year alone, PLN 175.94 million was collected.
This time, WOŚP collected money to buy the latest equipment to save the lives and health of children in need of various types of surgery. During the final of the WOŚP, it was possible to bid at special charity auctions, including a replica of the Nobel Medal from Olga Tokarczuk, dinner with Mike Tyson, Robert Lewandowski or Julia Wieniawa or a copy of Pontiac Trans Am from the Knight Rider TV series.
