KIR processed 177.85 mln transactions worth PLN 722.96 bln
In May 2024, the National Clearing House (KIR) processed 177.85 million transactions totaling PLN 722.96 billion, a 4% decrease in volume yet a 2% increase in value compared to May 2023. The peak day saw 17.3 million transactions worth PLN 49.11 billion. In Q2 2024, Elixir handled 557.94 million transactions worth PLN 2.27 trillion, similar to Q2 2023 in volume but an 8% rise in value.
Euro Elixir recorded 4.3 million transactions valued at EUR 29.34 billion in June 2024, down 3% in volume and 4% in value y/y, with Q2 totaling 13.73 million transactions worth EUR 92.83 billion, up 5% in volume and 4% in value. Express Elixir processed 44.95 million transactions worth PLN 21.65 billion in June 2024, up 46% in volume and 30% in value y/y, with Q2 totaling 131.18 million transactions worth PLN 64.67 billion, up 49% in volume and 34% in value.
