Kozminski University to become regional leader
The best business schools from Central Europe are already catching up with their competitors from the West, although they are still some distance from the top ten, which is opened this year by HEC Paris, London Business School, University of Bocconi and University of St. Gallen. The Kozminski University (ALK), which is the leader of the region, has the greatest chance of being promoted to the European “ivy league”.
In the strategic alliance with the world's oldest business university ESCP Europe, Kozminski is already on the 14th position in the European Business Schools 2019 ranking, published by the Financial Times daily. Kozminski alone ranks 48th and ahead of the Czech University of Economics in Prague (56th), St. Petersburg University (59th), Warsaw SGH (69th), Hungarian Corvinus University (87th) and University of Ljubljana (89th).
“We owe the high position in the ranking of business universities to our MBA graduates, of whom there are already 5,000. This year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Executive MBA program,” prof. Witold T. Bielecki, the rector of ALK, said.
