MLP Group, a property developer specializing in brownfield opportunities, has handed over completed facilities at MLP Unna to its new tenant L-SHOP-TEAM. Germany’s leading textile wholesaler will occupy nearly 57,000 sqm of modern space within the Ruhr, one of Europe’s largest logistics markets. Drawing on its expertise in brownfield redevelopments, MLP Group is fast expanding its portfolio of brownfield projects on post-industrial sites in Germany, including Idstein, Schalke, and Schwalmtal.

The entire project has been developed by MLP Group in accordance with its sustainability strategy. Space available to the tenant for warehouse purposes at the new logistics park in Unna will be 52,000 sqm. Large span ceilings and the facility height of up to 10.5 m will enable a flexible layout of the premises and the creation of a modern working environment. One of the facilities with an area of 17,000 sqm contains the appropriate infrastructure necessary to install a fully automated storage line.

“Having received the keys to MLP Unna, we have taken another major step towards imminent relocation of our corporate headquarters. This is a unique milestone for L-SHOP-TEAM. The new location will set the stage for our further international growth, so we are looking forward to our future in Unna,” Stefan Schenk, Managing Director of L-SHOP-TEAM, said.
