The Warsaw City Council has approved the lex developer procedure for a major residential project by OKAM on the former FSO site in Praga-Północ, paving the way for one of Warsaw’s largest housing developments. The decision ends nearly four years of consultations and planning. The first stage will deliver 2,050 apartments, a new public primary school for 645 students, green areas including part of a park, and new road infrastructure. The project marks the beginning of a long-awaited revitalization of a vast post-industrial area.

Ultimately, the transformation of over 60 hectares is expected to create a mixed-use district with housing, services, jobs, and extensive public green space over the next two decades.
