Leaders discuss the future of Ukraine
European Council President Charles Michel and European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy at the 24th European Union summit with Ukraine. Earlier, a delegation of 15 EU commissioners visited Ukraine.
The leaders discussed Ukraine's most urgent needs. It is not only about military support, but the gradual integration of the country into the Community. A new aid package of €450 million was announced during the visit. €305 million is to go to bilateral cooperation, and €145 million – to humanitarian aid.
