Min in KPRM: Poland will not be alone if US leaves NATO
Jakub Stefaniak said that a potential US exit from NATO, suggested by Donald Trump, would not be easy due to internal US legal and institutional constraints that limit presidential power.
He stressed that Poland sees no alternative to NATO and continues to treat the United States as a key strategic partner, regardless of political changes in Washington. At the same time, Poland is investing heavily in defense, allocating nearly PLN 200 billion to modernize its military and expand domestic arms production to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers.
While strengthening independence, Poland aims to maintain and deepen alliances, emphasizing that security will be built through cooperation, not isolation.
