New housing estate is being built at the Ursus factory in Warsaw

The construction of a new, unique and distinctive estate, which will be integrated into the legendary buildings of the former factory, is starting in the Ursus district of Warsaw.
The investment is being built in the place where the fragments of the former Ursus factory are located under the protection of the conservator. The developer Aurec Home will restore them to their former glory and include them in the planned housing development. This treatment will pay tribute to the history of this place and give it an original, industrial atmosphere. Also, the name of the housing estate – Fabrica Ursus – refers to the now-defunct Zakłady Mechaniczne Ursus. Adam Wagner, a well-known architect from the PBPA Projekt studio, took care of the unique combination of the past and the future.
On a 2.5 ha plot, Aurec Home will build approximately 800 apartments in five stages, as well as commercial, gastronomic, and service premises. Residential buildings will have 6-7 conditions, and apartments from 35-100 sqm. The first stage of the estate will be completed in May 2023, and the entire investment will be completed in 2027.
“Our offer is directed primarily to young people – singles and couples planning to expand their family. With them in mind, we have prepared a favorable price offer, while maintaining the premium standard of apartments and the estate,” Shraga Weisman, CEO of Aurec Home, said.
