New location of the Jewish Theatre in Warsaw

Since 2016, the Jewish Theatre has been operating without a permanent seat, but this is about to change. The Warsaw City Development Authority has just settled the proceedings for the selection of the architectural studio which will design the new seat for the Theatre.
The property at 22 Kasprzaka Street was purchased by the City in 2019 and it is here that the new stage of the Jewish Theater will be located. The design will be prepared by Biuro Architekt Kaczmarczyk s.c. studio from Sucha Beskidzka. Until now, the building located on this street has housed the Teatr na Woli Theater.
The investment includes modernization of the big stage, construction of a small stage and backstage facilities, as well as space to be used by the Center for Yiddish Culture.
