New platform for economic cooperation between Poland and Indonesia being created
On August 26, 2020, at the DWF Poland headquarters, a meeting inaugurating the establishment of the Polish-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce was held with the participation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Poland, Siti Nugraha Mauludiah. The purpose of the meeting was to present the initiative to establish the chamber, its mission and future members, which include Polish and Indonesian entities from industries such as energy, closed-loop economy, technology, railroad industry, food industry and tourism. Among the speakers there were, among others Filip Urbaniak - Partner of DWF Poland, one of the initiators of this initiative, and, via a teleconference with Jakarta, Hendra Halim (Director of the Department of Europe 2 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia), Benny Setiawan Santoso (Nippon Indosari Corpindo, Indofood Sukses Makmur and First Pacific) and via the recording Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan (Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs).
The main goal of the Polish-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be to support the development of economic and trade relations, as well as cooperation in the field of culture and education between the two countries.
