Omega Pilzno relocates its warehouse to Panattoni’s logistic park

Omega Pilzno is expanding and relocating its Tri-City warehouse through a lease of more than 14,000 sqm of warehouse space in Panattoni Park Tricity East III, whose construction commenced in early May. The tenant was advised in the transaction by real estate advisory firm Savills.
Founded in 1992, Omega Pilzno is a Polish logistics, transport and forwarding services provider. It has approximately 1,000 of staff, five logistics warehouses and a fleet of nearly 700 vehicles. The lease signed in Panattoni Park Tricity East III will bring the total warehouse stock of Omega Pilzno across Poland to almost 120,000 sqm.
“We decided to expand our warehouse facilities in the Tri-City region with the ambition to develop cooperation with our current clients and secure new mandates for logistics services. On account of its location, in our new warehouse we will provide customs warehouse services, maritime freight trans loading and distribution of goods to our clients,” Adam Godawski, Vice-President of Omega Pilzno, said.
According to Maciej Gierak, Business Development Manager from Savills, Tri-City is becoming an increasingly attractive location for the logistics sector.
“At the end of the first quarter of 2020, it had approximately 671,500 sqm of modern warehouse and industrial space. Omega Pilzno signed a long lease that confirms their long-term plans for growth in Tri-City, which reflects the growing significance of this region on Poland’s logistics map. Consequently, northern Poland is likely to attract soon more companies wanting to take advantage of this location’s strengths such as access to a seaport,” Maciej Gierak said.
