European funds are a powerful tool for building social, economic, and territorial development of the regions of the European Union. Especially now, after the pandemic and during the war in Ukraine, these funds will be helpful in strengthening the economy. How to effectively prepare for their expenditure, what projects to choose to meet the challenges facing contemporary Europe? What conclusions and recommendations can be drawn from the implementation of cohesion policy programs in the previous perspective? These issues will be discussed during the plenary session on "Cohesion Policy and Directions for the Development of Contemporary Regions."
