Orlen Upstream Norway, part of the Orlen Group, acquired 7.6% stakes in the Albuskjell and Vest Ekofisk fields in the North Sea from DNO. This deal adds approximately 8 million barrels of oil equivalent to Orlen’s reserves. Alongside other partners, Orlen has also committed to developing the Albuskjell, Vest Ekofisk, and Tommeliten Gamma fields, which together will provide 3.4 million barrels of oil equivalent annually, including over 400 million m³ of gas. Production is set to start in Q4 2028. These assets will be developed as a joint project, offering financial and operational synergies.

The move aligns with Orlen’s 2035 strategy to strengthen energy security in Central and Eastern Europe.
