In the first three quarters of 2019, 16.27 million tourists from abroad visited Poland. It is 8.2 percent more than in the same period of 2018, the Ministry of Development said.
Germans were the largest group of visitors, and the highest growth dynamics concerned tourists from South Korea.
“The data for the first three quarters of 2019 is very promising,” Andrzej Gut-Mostowy, deputy head of the ministry emphasized.
He added that according to forecasts for 12 months, the last year was record-breaking in this respect.
