Panattoni is preparing to re-enter Romania’s industrial and logistics property market, which its executives see as having potential similar to Poland’s market during its earlier growth phase. The developer has registered Panattoni Romania Development SRL in Bucharest with share capital of 100,000 Romanian lei and opened an office at Ethos House. The company is owned by Dutch holding firm PG Dutch Holding I B.V. Romania has more than 8 mln sqm of modern industrial and logistics space, with about 350,000 sqm under construction.

Panattoni’s previous Romanian subsidiary, established in 2016, was dissolved in 2021 without completing a project. The company reportedly resumed land searches in 2025, but has not announced a site or development.
