Panattoni will build the 65,000 sqm Panattoni Park Poznañ West Gate distribution center in Tarnowo Podgórne, and will exceed 1 million sqm of delivered space in the region, the company said.
"The developer will build a distribution center with over 100 loading docks, and the entire investment will pass BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. The complex will be built in March 2022, in the western part of Poland and thanks to the proximity of the S11 road and the A2 freeway, it will provide excellent connections to, among others, Germany, as well as to the most important logistics centers in the country," - we read in the announcement.
Construction of the investment is scheduled to start this summer. Panattoni Park Poznañ West Gate will cover 65 000 m2 and feature 126 loading docks, as well as nearly 220 parking spaces, including 13 for trucks. Tenants will also benefit from a spacious maneuvering area.
"We have been operating in and around Poznań since the beginning of the company's Polish branch and we plan to exceed one million sqm of delivered space later this year. We have built our rich portfolio on the trust of customers from various industries. In the last year alone, we have started, among others, two important projects for the e-commerce sector - over 105,000 sqm for DHL Supply Chain, to service Zalando, and 23,500 sqm for Ekol Poland, which runs operations for the outdoor clothing manufacturer Regat. Moreover, we have added another client from the food industry to our portfolio - OneDayMore" - said Panattoni's managing director Marek Dobrzycki, quoted in the release.
