PB: Chinese hackers attack PORR
Cyber-criminals are suspected of an attack on the servers of international construction group PORR. The company’s Polish branch also experienced problems. Unofficial conversations show that the cyber-attack caused a disruption in payment of wages, especially overtime pay.
There are even suggestions that the hacker attack could have contributed to PORR not submitting the offer for the construction of a canal through the Vistula Spit, even though the company was considered very likely to win the tender. The company denies it, though.
