PKP Intercity on Thursday stopped selling tickets for the trains departing from June 9 onwards due to a decision to change a previously set timetable. According to the service, the new timetable should be created by May 17, but this does not mean that the sale of tickets will begin immediately.
"The information about train tickets available for sale will be posted on the PKP Intercity website," the company said in a statement. A spokeswoman for PKP Intercity Agnieszka Serbeńska told in an interview with TVN24 that the news is bad "above all for those who buy tickets well in advance". PKP Intercity offers up to 30 percent discounts for tickets bought in advance.
