PLN 66.5 mln in subsidies from BGK going to Białystok for construction of 229 municipal apartments
The city of Białystok will receive PLN 66.5 mln in funding from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego to build 229 municipal apartments and a garage building, Mayor Tadeusz Truskolaski said. The project will be developed on Absolwentów Street, where the city has already constructed municipal housing in recent years. The new building will have about 8,300 sqm of space and around 50 garage places, with apartments delivered in turnkey standard. The city will contribute about PLN 11.5 mln of its own funds. A construction tender is planned for July, with a contract expected by the end of 2026 and completion scheduled for late 2028.
Some apartments will support the “Housing for Graduates” program aimed at retaining young professionals in the city.
