PM Tusk: we will have the largest transport hub in Europe

Poland is set to host the largest logistics hub in Europe as Euroterminal Sławków undergoes a major expansion, announced Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The terminal, strategically located on both wide and standard gauge rail lines, will have an annual capacity of over 500,000 TEU. With investments exceeding €1 billion, the project aims to boost Poland’s role in post-war Ukraine reconstruction, Asian-European trade, and regional economic development.
State-owned ARP leads the initiative, emphasizing Polish ownership. Tusk highlighted the hub as a "golden opportunity" for Poland, economically and strategically. Officials stressed its integration into national infrastructure plans and its potential to become the “logistical heart” of Europe, generating long-term national and regional benefits.
