The government has extended the temporary closure of borders for another 20 days, from March 25 to April 13, states the Journal of Laws, the most important Polish official daily.
Initially, the Polish borders were closed to foreigners for 10 days, starting from Sunday, March 15.
All Polish citizens, temporary and permanent residents and work permit holders outside the borders can return to the country. After returning, they are subject to mandatory 14-day home quarantine. International air, land and sea passenger connections remain suspended. Goods, however, can leave and enter Poland without interference.
