Poland is the fastest growing market for Dott e-scooters
The number of Dott e-scooter rides in Poland increased by 322 percent y/y in the second quarter of 2022, making Poland the fastest-growing Dott market in Europe.
Italy came in second (up 178 percent y/y), and Belgium came in third (+164 percent y/y). The number of new Dott customers in Poland increased by 235 percent q/q in the second quarter of 2022. In this respect, Poland is also the leader among European Dott markets. In Belgium, the number of customers increased by 116 percent q/q. It was noted in France and Italy by 89 percent and 85 percent, respectively.
Across all European markets in which it operates, Dott averaged 192 percent more rides in the second quarter of 2022 than 12 months earlier.
"In an era of record high fuel prices, the e-scooter is becoming a comfortable and economically advantageous means of transportation. We can use it to move efficiently and at a reasonable price in the urban space. It is also worth noting that using an e-scooter instead of a car makes us significantly reduce the amount of carbon dioxide emitted into the environment, even by 6 kg over a distance of 50 km," general manager of Dott in Poland Michal Paprocki said.
