In an optimistic scenario, Poland may become member of the G20 group in 2029,  the Polish Economic Institute (PIE) assesses. According to the latest analysis of the International Monetary Fund, GDP in Poland will continue to grow over the next five years, at a pace of three percent annually. According to PIE, if Poland manages to continue this growth, it may become the world’s 22nd largest economy in 2024 (the country is the 23rd largest economy now).
