Poland opened its longest seaside promenade worth PLN 40 mln

Poland started reconstruction of the promenade in Kołobrzeg, a city on the Baltic Sea, back in 2009. In January this year, the last section worth PLN 17 million was completed, and the opening ceremony took place on Sunday, January 22. The total value of the investment is PLN 40 mln. The promenade is about 4 kilometers long and runs along the shore, several meters from the sea.
“We are the city with the longest seaside promenade,” said Anna Mieczkowska, the president of Kołobrzeg, quoted by Gazeta Wyborcza.
Poland's longest bike path also runs along the Baltic coast through Kołobrzeg.
