Poland is the third country in the world regarding the amount of military assistance given to Ukraine. According to an analysis published by the BBC, the government in Warsaw has already pledged $1.81 billion in support of Kyiv. The US and the UK occupy the top two places on the list.
The total volume of Washington's commitments to Ukraine from January 27 to June 7 is $25.45 billion. Washington also leads the way in terms of military funding already provided to Kyiv ($6.3 billion in the same period).
The London government's commitments to Ukraine, on the other hand, amount to $2.53 billion, while actual spending to date is $1.6 billion. These totals do not account for the $1.2 billion or other support pool announced by the British authorities on June 30, the BBC reported after the Institute for the World Economy in Kiel, Germany.
