Pratt & Whitney will invest USD 25 mln to expand its aerospace components plant in Niepołomice, southern Poland. The project, scheduled for completion in 2028, will create more than 120 jobs and increase production capacity for precision tubes and ducts used in commercial and military aircraft engines, including the GTF, PW800, and F135 powering the F-35. The investment follows a recently announced USD 100 mln expansion of the company’s Rzeszów facility. Pratt & Whitney employs about 6,500 people in Poland, including more than 350 engineers at its Rzeszów R&D center.

The latest project is expected to strengthen Poland’s role in global aerospace and defense supply chains while supporting advanced engineering and manufacturing skills in Małopolska.
