Clashes broke out Wednesday at the Foxconn's plant in Zhengzhou, China, the world’s largest Apple-branded phone factory, between hundreds of protesting workers and security forces, media reported, based on footage circulating on social media.
Live footage on the Kuaishou network showed people with sticks destroying security cameras and smashing windows at the factory of Foxconn, an Apple subcontractor, Reuters reported. The footage shows that the protest erupted when the workers learned about the delayed payments in bonuses.
