The Government Security Center (RCB) has issued a warning to counties located north of Warsaw and along the Vistula about the use of water from the river after the discharge of sewage following the failure of the collectors of the Czajka sewage treatment plant in the Polish capital. In its alert sent to the residents of the counties in question, the RCB says that water from the Vistula should not be used for drinking, washing or bathing. It also does not recommend engaging in water sports in the affected area. As a result of the Czajka breakdown, 3,000 liters of waste are going to the Vistula every second.
