Approximately 250,000 sqm of new warehouse space got under construction in central Poland in the first quarter of this year, which is the best result among all the main warehouse markets in the country, according to a report by CBRE. The region currently features over 2.5 million sqm of modern warehouse areas with that volume expected to grow by almost 500,000 sqm by the end of 2019. Demand is on the rise – in Q1 2019, it amounted to 216,000 sqm and was only slightly smaller than the demand recorded in the Warsaw area (225,000 sqm).
