Rising star of Polish tennis under wings of Iga Świątek’s manager

Paulina Wójtowicz, manager of Iga Świątek drew attention to the promising tennis player Valeria Olianovskaia. The young Russian woman is in the process of changing her citizenship to Polish and dreams of playing for the Polish national team during the next Olympic Games. Thanks to a wild card from the organizers of the BNP Paribas Poland Open tournament, she got a chance to face the best tennis players in the world.
Valeria comes from Moscow and has been playing tennis since the age of five. It belonged to one of the largest tennis clubs of the prestigious IMG Academy. A year ago in Turkey, she won her first tournament of the International Tennis Federation, of which she is also a three-time finalist. BNP Paribas Poland Open has been the biggest tournament in her career so far.
"We need hard-working and goal-oriented players. I see such potential here," Paulina Wójtowicz said.
Valeria came to Poland thanks to the Russian tennis player Nadia Petrova, who used to be third in the world rankings, who recommended her to our training staff. He has been living here for several years and is currently in the process of changing his citizenship to Polish. Her dream is to enter the official Polish national team and play in the white and red colors at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Its motto is "Dreams don't work until you do".
