The Moscow Municipal Court has sentenced a Polish citizen accused of spying to 14 years in a strict-regime corrective colony, the agency TASS said. According to the Federal Security Service (FSB), the convict tried to organize a transport of components of the S-300 missile system to Poland. He is reported to have been caught red-handed. The FSB claims that the convicted Pole “acted on behalf of the Polish organization being the leading supplier of the national armed forces and special services.” The trial took place behind closed doors because the details of the case had been classified. The verdict is not legally binding.
