Sales of new apartments in major markets increased by 25% y/y in Q3
Developers sold 13,100 apartments across Poland’s seven largest housing markets in the third quarter, up 25% from a year earlier. September was the strongest month of the year, with 5,100 sales and a record 3,500 new reservations. Buyer demand exceeded new supply by 22% during the quarter.
Developers brought 11,000 apartments to market, 16% fewer than in the second quarter but 12% more than a year earlier. The available inventory dipped slightly to just under 59,000 units. Otodom analysts say fourth-quarter sales could be as much as 20% higher than in the third quarter. Average prices are expected to keep rising, while developers may offer discounts in November and December.
